Ao Tanote was the bay just north of Ao Leuk on the east side of Ko Tao. There was no dock in this bay so dive boat customers were shuttled to and from shore in small runabouts. We snorkeled along the giant boulders shown on the right side of this photo. The water was so deep we could not see the bottom. In the center of this bay was a huge boulder from which adventurous tourists sometimes jumped into the deep water.
